The pen and paper Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2018 to be conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is scheduled on April 8, while the computer-based examination of paper 1 of JEE (Main) 2018 will be conducted on April 15 and April 16 at different centres located in 258 cities throughout the country and abroad.
The admit cards for the same have been released on the official website. Candidates are required to download the admit card and must carry the same to the examination centre.
According to the official notification, "In case any applicant is not able to download his/her e-admit card, he/she may contact CBSE helpline number between (10 am to 5:30 pm) on working days.The candidates may note that no e-admit card will be sent to them by post."
Selection process:
All those candidates who have successfully cleared the JEE (Mains) will be eligible to appear for the JEE Advanced exam round. Students will be allotted colleges on the basis of these two written exams.

- Exam date for offline mode: April 8
- Exam date for online mode: April 15 and 16
- Answer keys and OMR release date: April 24-April 27
- JEE Main result: April 30
